"Wisdom" from Three Young Men
I just had to post this. It's been bugging me since it happened. Yesterday Fred and I were eating breakfast and three young men came in and sat in the booth behind us. They were somewhere in their 20's and I noticed them because they were nicely dressed and better looking than the average guy. Anyway, we were eating and out of the blue their conversation caught my attention. One guy said to the other, "So I heard you had a new girlfriend, you gettin any action yet?" The other guy must have said "not yet" I couldn't really hear him. Then the first guy said, "you know how you can tell if you gonna get any action?" Once again I couldnt hear what the other guy said. Then the first guy says, "Does she like her mother?" The second guy says, "No, she hasnt spoken to her mother in months, she don't really have much to do with her family." The first guys says, "Yep, there are 3 things to look for to get a girl that puts out. One, she is not close with her family, she has isolated herself from them, 2) Does she have money? If she doesn't have money she'll .... At this point I got so mad I leaned over the table and said to Fred "you are not gonna believe what I am hearing at this table behind us!" Then all I heard was the waitress asking the guys at the tabe if they would like a glass of soap to wash out their mouths. So, I guess I'll never know what number three was!

Nope. Just sat there and ate like any normal day.It was so creepy to hear such conversation from what seemingly looked like some great guys. Shows that you never know who you're talking to. Single ladies beware!!
See. These are the options I have out there. I shall just stay to myself when I hear such stories.
oh.my.word! I just want to say "only in the south" would a waitress risk her tip to shut their mouths...and wash it out with soap! :) I love it!
This story reminds me of when Fred told a story at the marriage retreat in Gatlinburg about how women can mulit-task so much better than men. He used the example of how you can be sitting in a restaurant and can hear the conversations behind you or beside you, while keeping a conversation with him at the same time! Funny, how this story reminded me of that! I must have too much wasted space in my brain to remember odd tidbits like that!!
