Getting to know Papaw

My mom and dad have sold their home here in Cleveland and are in the process of moving so we went over to be with them the other night.  If you know my dad, he is a big cut-up and teases the kids a lot. Ella being only 2 is still figuring out that he is not serious with all the things he says... so the other night he was teasing her about "changing her baby sister for a new one" because Marley was crying a lot.. Ella ran over to Marley and looked up at Papaw and said "Shes not like you."  (She does not like you) hahaha.

But she is beginning to figure him out (she has been noticing that we all just laugh at what Papaw says) so they are becoming big buddies now and tonight she seemed to understand that we all laughed at papaw when he asked her if she thought granny was ugly.  haha For all of us children and grand-children, this is the fun papa we have always known.  Now she's got to learn that he is going to steal her plate of food at thanksgiving and she'll have to look for it in the strangest places!
