Whitney was just cast in a show in Manhattan!! She is going to be playing Angelina in Angelina Ballerina the Musical! This is the world premiere of the musical and she is going to be originating Angelina in her first staged musical. The show is playing at Vital Theater on the Upper West Side of Manhattan from October - December. Angelina Ballerina started out as a popular children's book and is now very popular on PBS in her own cartoon! Hit Entertainment owns Angelina Ballerina as well as Thomas the Train, Bob the Builder, and Barney.
We are all so thrilled for this first big break! I am especially excited about the fact that she was cast as the leading role in a children's musical because I think that all the adults who work in the musical theater field and have children or grandchildren.. will come to this show. That gives Whitney the opportunity to be seen by a lot of connected people.. and as we all know (if you've ever seen/heard her) she owns the stage in all her performances!! In this role she sings opera... and also is a ballerina! She told me that they keep raising the key on her songs so she hits higher and higher notes all while she is dancing ballet!!

Nathan has been cast in one of the lead roles in "Altar Boyz" in Manchester, NH. He left for Manchester this weekend and will be there for only 9 days of rehearsals (super-fast)... then the show plays for 3 weekends after that.. He is playing the role of Abraham.
