Historic Home Update

We've been working for almost two months now on the beautiful Historic Home downtown.  It needs about three more weeks of work... including refinishing the original hardwood floors, painting, and chandeliers etc...  but for those of you who are interested, here's some before and now photos.. Not, before and After though because we still need grass to grow and flowers to bloom and lots of little things plus overall cleaning to finish.

Stage Two:
The toilet was moved to the left to make a door on the right opening into the Master Bedroom and the entire sub-floor was rebuilt.

Main Bath Now...
We still have to paint the original Cast-Iron Tub White and also paint the walls, trim and door, plus the new window to go in, and the tile grout is not in yet also. A wall mirror is going above the tile over the sink.

I did a lot of research on 1924 homes and black and white tile with all white sinks, tubs, tiles and toilets were the style so we've tried to return this historical home back to it's days of glory

Now for the Kitchen: Before

The Kitchen Now.. we still need to finish installing the backsplash, painting, grouting the tile, and taking the blue film off the stainless steel appliances.

We have many old items for sale that we took out of the house... if any of you know anyone who is interested. We have all the old windows, old door knobs, old medicine cabinets, and the original 1924 chandeliers... three from a matching set. I found them in a 1930 Montgomery Ward Catalog!!
